Drug discovery | Fatty acid metabolism.
I work with research projects focused on M. tuberculosis and drug discovery. I perform and analyze high throughput screening and biochemical assays to determine the inhibitory effects of compounds on potential drug targets. Together with macromolecular crystallography to study inhibitor - protein interactions, this will pave the pathway to discover new and new efficient drugs against this global pathogen.
