San Angelo, Texas Mycobacterium Tuberculosis
Within my research, I use numerous biochemical methods and assays to find inhibitors for essential enzymes used by Mycobacterium tuberculosis. To further probe the interaction between enzymes and their inhibitors, I also employ protein crystallography to study these interactions in greater depth. Through my work, I hope to contribute more tools to the continuous battle with infectious disease.
