I am associated with research projects focused on the drug discovery process for M. Tuberculosis and other parasitic diseases. My duties are to design, synthesize and perform SAR studies on the basis of the interactions between proteins and their ligands, substrates, or inhibitors.
Designing interesting molecules with potential in developing hit to lead scaffolds for targeting infectious diseases has always been my primary goal and might provide useful insight into the drug design and discovery process.
